Do you enjoy looking up at the night sky with a sense of wonder and amazement? Do you have dreams of exploring the great beyond of outer space? How about just wanting to know more about the sky, NASA, and the universe? Then GSAC is just for you! This Girl Scout Astronomy Club is open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors.
Our Club Goals and Mission
• A community for girls to make new friends with girls who are interested in space science and STEAM.
• An environment that promotes the 3 keys to girl scout leadership.

• Provide opportunities to younger girl scouts and inspire them to learn, lead, and grow in STEAM.
• Learn about the wonders of science in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Council-wide opportunities, open to all Girl Scouts.
• Hold special events: overnights, planetarium shows, and field trips.
Girl Scout Astronomy Club Membership Requirements
- Must be a Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador
- Attend GSAC Special Events, campouts, and 4 club meetings
- Interested in learning about space science and STEAM
- Help plan, design, and implement at least 1 star party for younger Girl Scouts.
- Senior & Ambassadors participating in CIT will be able to earn hours toward their CIT Bar.

**An annual club membership fee of $25 is good from October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020. Membership includes a club T-shirt, patch (girls must attend at least 4 meetings to receive the patch), and general meetings. Memberships will be accepted and available online starting August 24th - September 30th.** Not sure if you want to commit the full year and just want to come to check us out?
