Accessible primarily by canoe, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northeast Minnesota is one of America's most beautiful and remote places. Its vast wilderness extends 150 miles along the U.S.-Canada border, covering approximately 1,098,000 acres with over 1,100 lakes and 1,500 miles of canoe routes. To truly understand this incredible destination, you have to come experience it for yourself.
After a day of training, packing, and planning, you will paddle north to the wilderness where you will spend 5 days paddling and portaging via canoe. Trained Girl Scout canoe guides offer the tools and coaching to make the expedition crew succeed at their adventure and are experts at bringing out the best in every girl.
Participants should be dropped off at the GSKSMO council parking lot no later than 7:30AM on 07/23/2022. We should arrive back at the GSKSMO parking lot around 6:30PM on 07/31/2022.
