Join us April 1st from 10am-3pm at Camp Tongawood for a day of service as part of our Caring for Camp Service Weekend. On this day, join other Girl Scouts, volunteers and family to help care for our beloved camp by helping with various projects around camp. Projects could range anywhere from painting to minor repairs, clearing trails, trimming, power-washing, cleaning buildings putting up signage, etc. Troops and families are welcome, please make sure children are a minimum of 5 years of age.

It takes a lot to get our camps ready for an awesome spring and summer season, so come out for a couple hours or the whole day!

Registration: 

  • Free - just come out and lend a hand with projects - Lunch of hot dog, chips, drink and dessert will be provided around noon for anyone who would like. Just designate you would like a lunch on your registration. You are welcome to bring your own lunch as well

Please be sure to register all who will be in attendance including adults.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy: -Cancelled by the Girl Scouts: The total fee is refunded if the event is cancelled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) -Cancellation by the group/camper more than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels more than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received by campdept@gsksmo.org at least 2 weeks prior to the event date. -Cancellations by the group/camper less than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee will not be returned to the group or individual except in case of illness where a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.
