Fee: $75                Capacity: 15 Girls

 

 

The Daisy outdoor journey is the perfect way to introduce your Daisy to the outdoors as well as getting the chance to spend time outside yourself. They will enjoy primitive camping at DeWitt Lodge, learning about all the ways nature can be used in art, help cook meals over a campfire, then take part in a service project to give back to Camp Prairie Schooner.

 

Daisies are required to be accompanied by an adult during the entire journey. Adults are not required to pay.

 

In this Daisy Outdoor Journey you will earn four badges:  Buddy Camper badge, Outdoor Art Maker badge, and Take Action

 

Weekend Schedule (Subject to Change)

1st Morning and Day

Food - Lunch

Activities – Service Project, Art in Nature activity, Adventure activity

1st Night

Food - Dinner – Foil Dinners

Activities – Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag, Night Hike and Campfire

Sleeping – Tent Camping at the lodge

2nd Morning

Food - Breakfast

Activities – Scouts Own, Clean-Up and Closing

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy: • Cancelled by the Girl Scouts: The total fee is refunded if the event is cancelled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) • Cancellation by the group/camper more than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received by campdept@gsksmo.org at least 2 weeks prior to the event date. • Cancellations by the group/camper less than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee not be returned to the group or individual except in case of illness where a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.
