Girl Scout Grade Level: Seniors-Ambassadors

Session Length: Approx: 4-6hrs/online & 2hr/in-person skills assessment    

Group Capacity: 20             Fee: $15/girl

 

Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED is done by the student completing an online course first, then meeting with their instructor in person to perform their skills assessment. The Blending Learning First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat, and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years and will have completed all the steps in earning their level First Aid Badge.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancelled by GSKSMO: The total fee is refunded if the event is cancelled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) Cancellation by the group/camper/attendee more than 1 week out: If the troop or individual cancels more than 1 week prior to the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received at least 1 week prior to the event date. Cancellations by the group/camper/attendee less than 1 week out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 1 week prior to the event date, the fee not be returned to the group or individual except in case of illness where a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.
