Camp Prairie Schooner is the perfect place to have fun and strengthen the bond with the special girl in your life. Together, you can enjoy the beauty of camp while you hike, participate in an Adventure activity and more. Girl's will get the opportunity to complete and earn their Outdoor Art badge while Gal's get some relaxation time all while being in the outdoors. Come hang out for the day or stay the whole weekend!  

Registration Options: All options include meals, adventure activity, a t shirt. You must register for both girl(s) and adult.

  • Day Only - $70/person
  • Overnight Bring your own tent (buddy requests available) - $90/person
  • Permatent - you will be placed in a permatent unit with other Girls & Gals (buddy requests available) - $100/person
  • Building - you will be placed in one of our camp buildings with other Girls & Gals (buddy requests available) - $110/person

For those staying the whole weekend, check in starts at 7:00pm on Friday. For those coming just for the day Saturday, check in starts at 8:00am.

Each Girl must be accompanied by a Gal (Female) Adult over 18. 

An Online Health Form Link will be included in your confirmation email that you will receive once your registration is completed.  Please complete a health form for each registered individual

Itinerary* (* This is tentative and subject to change)

FRIDAY

  • 7:00pm - Overnight Registrations can check in at camp. Get settled at their site. Dinner is not provided.
  • 8:00pm - Popcorn and Lemonade being served at Neal Lodge followed by an outdoor movie experience.
  • 8:30pm - Outdoor Movie experience at Neal Lodge. 
  • 11:00pm - Lights Out

SATURDAY

  • 8:00am - Day only registrations can check in at Neal Lodge. A light breakfast will be available for overnight guests.
  • 8:30am - Opening Ceremonies and welcome in Neal Lodge flag field.
  • 9:00am - 11:00am = Girls & Gals activities (You will participate in various activities such as an Adventure activity or an Outdoor Art Badge activity, these activities will last anywhere from 30 minutes - 2 hours.)
  • 11:00am-12:00pm = Lunch
  • 12:00pm - 4:00pm = Girls & Gals activities (You will participate in various activities such as an Adventure activity or an Outdoor Art Badge activity, these activities will last anywhere from 30 minutes - 2 hours.)
  • 4:00pm - 5:00pm = Free Time
  • 5:00pm - 6:00pm = Dinner (this is for both overnight, and day only registered participants.)
  • 6:00pm - S’mores & Campfire at Neal Lodge
  • 8:00pm - Outdoor Movie experience at Neal Lodge
  • 11:00pm - Lights Out

SUNDAY

  • 8:00am - Breakfast
  • 10:00am - Check out and head home!

 

Badge/Journey Connection: All participants will earn and receive their Girl Scout Level Outdoor Art Badge. Here are some other badge/journey connections: Daisy Outdoor Journey, Daisy Buddy Camper, Brownie Climbing Adventure Badge, Brownie Cabin Camper Badge, Junior Camper Badge, Cadette Climbing Adventure Badge, Senior Climbing Adventure Badge.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancelled by the Girl Scouts: The total fee is refunded if the event is cancelled by Girl Scout staff due to severe weather, staffing, or equipment issues. (Please note: all events are rain or shine. We only cancel for weather when our staff determines that the activity cannot be conducted safely.) Cancellation by the group/camper more than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels more than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee will be refunded if a written request is received by campdept@gsksmo.org at least 2 weeks prior to the event date. Cancellations by the group/camper less than 2 weeks out: If the troop or individual cancels less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, the fee will not be returned to the group or individual except in case of illness where a written refund request is accompanied by a statement from the attending physician.
