Come out to Camp Tongawood for the GSAC 2019 Leadership Retreat and Kick off. This event is just for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors as our Astronomy Club’s first big star  party of the year!

Come make new friends AND learn about the wonders outer space! This event is not required in order to join the GSKSMO Astronomy Club but it is highly encouraged that you attend if you are interested.

Spending Saturday getting to know each other, zipline, complete team builders, attend a stellar painting class, learn about space science and build valuable leadership skills. All who attend will take part in leadership training and activities. Cadettes will complete training for their Program Aide while Seniors and Ambassadors will earn hours toward their CIT pin.

It wouldn’t be a Star Party without some after-hours fun! Enjoy campfires, stargazing, and glow in the dark capture the flag. We will be spending the night in the Lodge at Camp Tongawood with some optional tent camping with a later start to our Sunday.
Dinner, snacks and cold breakfast included. 

A packing list will be sent out with your confirmation one week prior to the event date.
