Interested in the diversity of life and learning about organisms from the depths of the sea to the hidden world of bugs? Want to explore the mysteries of the universe and go back in time sifting through the remains of prehistoric organisms? Learn how to plot coordinates in archery or use a compass to orienteer around camp. Curious about how experts design solutions to solve the world’s problems? Investigate our world — from tiny micro-organisms to the vast Kansas blue skies. All registered participants will receive communication within 2 weeks prior to the STEM Expo that will list all the sessions available. Activity sessions will consist of varying topics and girls will be able to rank their interest in the session options. Girls will participate in 3-4 activity sessions during the day. Each registered girl will get a free STEM patch for participating. This event requires parents of individually registered girls to stay on-site with their Girl Scout. Troops attending together must provide sufficient adult supervision to meet Girl Scout ratios for their troop. Girls will need to bring a sack lunch.
