It’s a fact: hitting the great outdoors is good for girls’ well-being. Our research shows that outdoor exposure increases girls’ challenge-seeking and problem-solving know-how, drives their leadership development, improves their health overall, and offers them important opportunities to practice cooperation and teamwork and try new things. Come out to Camp Tongawood for a day of adventure; zipline, fish, hike the wetlands, meet animal friends and earn your Eco Friend Badge. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
While earning the Eco Friend Badge Girl Scouts will find out how to treat outdoor spaces with kindness and teach others how they can, too. Girls will find out new ways to protect our natural world and the living things in it.
Brownie Adventure Day Fun Patch, Eco Friend Badge and lunch included.
Lunch includes hot dog, chips, fruit, and dessert.
Registration Requirements: All girls participating in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. **This is a DROP OFF event. Adults and troop leaders are not required to stay**
