It’s a fact: hitting the great outdoors is good for girls’ well-being. Our research shows that outdoor exposure increases girls’ challenge-seeking and problem-solving know-how, drives their leadership development, improves their health overall, and offers them important opportunities to practice cooperation and teamwork and try new things. Come out to Camp Tongawood for a day of adventure; paddle in a canoe, shoot a sling-shot, and climb a traverse wall. Let’s get outside!

Registration Requirements: All girls participating in this activity must be registered Girl Scout members. Each girl must attend with a parent or adult chaperone. This event requires a 1 to 1 ratio in order to participate.

Girls will NOT be able to participate if their name does not appear on the roster or if they are not accompanied with their own caregiver or approved and background checked adult.

**Daisies will need to canoe with an approved background-checked adult or their own caregiver.**

Badge/Journey Connection: Step 1 of Journey: Between Earth and Sky, Step 2 of Journey: Think Like a Scientist, Steps 1 and 2 of Outdoor Art Maker. Daisy Adventure Day is a great way to practice and complete step 3 of most of the Daisy Petals!
